A slow, material-led site for a Hamburg architecture practice — type that holds at billboard scale, and rooms photographed like still lifes.

Nordlicht asked for a site that felt like walking their buildings: light first, then structure, then the small joinery you only notice on the way out. We started with a type system that can sit on a gallery wall and still read on a phone.
Pages are sequenced like a monograph. Each project opens on a single photograph, a short caption, and a plan drawing set as a footnote — no carousels, no autoplay. The index is a material list, not a grid of thumbnails fighting for attention.
A site the studio now prints from. Enquiries arrive with better briefs, because visitors have already read the rooms.
